During my teens, I was mobbed by a pair of kestrels on a local nature reserve, engaging me in nature and firmly altering the trajectory of my life.

Soon after got a work placement on a local nature reserve, spending the rest of my teens volunteering for several local nature reserves, and studying a Diploma in Land and Wildlife, recieving a National Trust Award for high achievements.

I've worked several jobs in the ecology, science communications and practical conservation sector (which now form the big three pillars of this personal "brand"), alongside going freelance, and running several of my own projects.

Currently, I study a Masters Degree in Ecological Restoration, while completing freelance ecology and science communications projects within the sector.
